What is Shop Conductor?

Shop Conductor connects your AI assistant (ChatGPT, Claude, opencode, or Gemini) directly to your ePages online shop. Once connected, you can ask your AI to manage products, view orders, update customers, run sales reports, edit legal pages, and more. You can do it all in plain language, no API coding required.

Your AI acts as a smart assistant that reads and writes shop data through secure, scoped access. You control which write tools are enabled per shop.

Example prompts

Show me all orders from last week and summarize the total revenue.
Create a new product: "Organic Cotton T-shirt", SKU TS-001, price 29.90 EUR.
Which customers haven't ordered in the last 3 months?
Update the privacy policy page with our new GDPR-compliant text.
Add all winter collection products to the 'Seasonal' category.

How to connect

Shop Conductor is an MCP server. Any AI assistant that supports MCP can connect to it: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, opencode and others. Assistants rename and move their settings often, so this guide describes what to look for rather than exact menu paths. For the exact clicks, ask your assistant itself with the ready-made message further down.

  1. 1. Copy your server address:
    https://shopconductor.eu/mcp
  2. 2. Open your assistant's settings and find where custom connectors, apps or MCP servers are added. The section is usually called Connectors, Apps, Integrations or MCP servers. Use the web or desktop version. Mobile apps rarely offer this.
  3. 3. Add a new connector, name it Shop Conductor and paste the address. When asked how to authenticate, choose OAuth. There is no API key.
  4. 4. Your assistant opens the Shop Conductor sign-in page. Sign in and approve the connection.
  5. 5. Start a new chat and ask: "Which shops are connected in Shop Conductor?" If you get an answer, you are done.

Reading shop data works right away. Creating or changing products, orders and other data is off by default. Enable the write tools you want, shop by shop, on the Dashboard.

Can't find the setting?

The setting is usually hidden for one of a few reasons: a developer or beta mode is switched off, you are using the mobile app, your plan does not include custom connectors, or in a company workspace only an administrator can add them.

Your assistant knows its own current settings better than any written guide. Copy this message into a new chat and it will walk you through them:

I want to connect an MCP server to you. Its address is https://shopconductor.eu/mcp and it signs in with OAuth, there is no API key. Tell me step by step where in your current settings I add a custom MCP server or connector, whether I first need to turn on a developer or beta mode, whether this works on my current plan and device, and what to do if I cannot see the option at all.

Connected, but nothing happens?

If the connection exists but your assistant cannot see your shop, copy this message:

Shop Conductor is connected to you as an MCP server at https://shopconductor.eu/mcp, but you cannot see my shop data. Check whether the connector is enabled for this chat, whether my sign-in has expired and needs to be renewed, and tell me how to reconnect it.

Terminal assistants

Command-line assistants are configured with a command instead of a settings page. Sign-in opens in your browser.
